One killed, two injured in Kulgam blast | KNO

Srinagar, June 27 (KNO) : A person was killed while two others sustained grievous wounds on Thursday in a mysterious blast in Chidder area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district. Police officials told KNO that a mysterious blast occurred inside the shop of scrap dealer this afternoon, adding that as the workers inside the shop were dismantling the newly arrived scrap, a blast occurred inside the shop, resulted into the killing of a person and two others grievously wounded. However, police identified the slain as Nazir Ahmad Bhat, adding that two others who are injured have been identified as Mohammad Abdullah and Yawar Ahmad. Police said that the duo has sustained critical injuries and were evacuated to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment. “Police has registered a case. Officers are investigating the cause of blast,” police said.(KNO)
